Our Story
Why Two Developers Built Vimsy—
And Why It Matters to Your Business
We were tired of seeing businesses pay thousands for WordPress emergencies that were completely preventable. So we built something better.
The Problem We Couldn't Ignore
The breakdown cycle
We started Vimsy because we were tired of seeing the same story play out over and over:
A business owner builds or buys a WordPress site. Everything works great at first. Then, slowly, things start breaking.
A plugin update causes a white screen. A security vulnerability goes unnoticed. Performance degrades so slowly they don't realize they're losing customers. By the time they call for help, a simple maintenance task has become a $3,000 emergency.
As developers who'd built and maintained hundreds of WordPress sites, we'd seen this pattern countless times. The problem wasn't the technology—WordPress is incredibly powerful. The problem was that nobody was taking care of it proactively.
Most businesses had three bad options:
- Handle it themselves (and constantly worry about what they're missing)
- Hire a full-time developer (expensive and often overkill)
- Call a "WordPress expert" only when things break (even more expensive)
So we built option four: Vimsy.
Professional WordPress maintenance that's proactive, transparent, and actually affordable for real businesses.
Meet the Founders
Two developers, one mission: stress-free WordPress maintenance
How Vimsy Was Born
A journey from frustration to a system
Arslan and Anas met while working on separate enterprise WordPress projects. We quickly discovered we shared the same approach to development—meticulous, proactive, and obsessed with preventing problems before they happen.
As we started collaborating on enterprise projects together, we kept noticing the same pattern: large companies had dedicated teams to maintain their WordPress infrastructure, but smaller businesses and SaaS companies were left choosing between expensive agencies or DIY maintenance that often led to costly disasters.
"Why isn't there a professional maintenance service designed specifically for businesses that need enterprise-grade care without enterprise-level budgets?" we kept asking.
The answer: Because most agencies make more money from emergencies than from prevention.
We thought that was backward.
We spent the year refining our maintenance methodology—testing every tool, automating every check, documenting every procedure. Drawing from our enterprise experience, we wanted a system so thorough that emergencies became virtually impossible.
We launched Vimsy with a clear focus: SaaS companies and small businesses that needed reliable WordPress infrastructure but couldn't justify a full-time technical team.
We started with a handful of carefully selected clients. No aggressive marketing. No sales pitches. Just results.
Those sites never went down. Never got hacked. Never had performance issues. Every update went smoothly. Every backup worked perfectly. Our clients could focus on growing their businesses while we handled the technical foundation.
Word started spreading.
As demand grew beyond our initial SaaS and small business focus, we realized our maintenance approach worked beautifully for businesses of all types and sizes. E-commerce stores, membership sites, content platforms, agency portfolios—the need for proactive maintenance was universal.
We formalized what we'd built. Vimsy evolved from a boutique service into a comprehensive WordPress maintenance platform.
We built MainWP-powered infrastructure to manage diverse sites at scale. We created transparent reporting systems that worked for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. We established response-time guarantees. We made the enterprise-grade maintenance we'd perfected accessible to businesses of all sizes.
Today, we serve everyone from SaaS startups to established e-commerce brands, from solo entrepreneurs to growing agencies—anyone who takes their WordPress site seriously.
Vimsy now maintains 50+ WordPress sites across diverse industries. Our clients sleep better at night. They don't worry about security. They don't stress about updates. They focus on their business while we handle the technical foundation.
But we're just getting started.
We're building the future of WordPress maintenance: smarter automation, predictive monitoring, faster response times, and transparent analytics that show exactly how your site performs month over month.
Our original mission—making enterprise-grade WordPress maintenance accessible to businesses that need it—has evolved into something bigger: making WordPress maintenance seamless, invisible, and reliable for everyone.

The Team Behind Vimsy
A deeper look at the founders

“I started building websites at 16. What began as a hobby turned into a career helping businesses leverage technology. After years of building custom WordPress solutions, I noticed a pattern: great sites were failing not because of bad code, but because of neglected maintenance. Vimsy exists to solve that problem—giving businesses the technical foundation they need without the technical headaches they don't.”

- Business systems architect
- Founded SOCIILAS LLC
“I've always been obsessed with how things work under the hood. When I started working with WordPress, I fell in love with its flexibility—but I was frustrated by how often sites broke because of poor maintenance practices. At Vimsy, I've built systems that make WordPress maintenance predictable, reliable, and scalable. Every security check, every backup, every update—all happens automatically, with human oversight to catch what automation can't. My goal? Make site maintenance so seamless you forget it's even happening.”
